CENTENNIAL TRAIL - Manitoba

Located in Whiteshell Provincial Park - a spectacular collection of billion-year-old
Precambrian Shield and a multitude of clear lakes and rivers, the Centennial Trail was
built by Vernon "Skink" Dutton and the Pembina Boy Scout Troop in 1970 to both serve
as a link in the National Trail and to commemorate Manitoba's centennial.
In the fall, when the leaves begin change, the park and trail comes alive with one
final burst of colour before winter.
