A Hike Canada en Marche Heritage Trail must be significant either -

Environmentally (for example, it passes by the home of a rare or endangered species of flora or fauna, through an unique geological formation, etc.), and/or

Historically (for example, the trail follows the path used by early traders / Voyageurs, leads to a recognized historic landmark, etc.), and/or

Culturally (for example, the trail passes through landscape portrayed in a famous Canadian painting or book, leads to a community with a significant cultural facility, etc.)
