Mission:

To enhance the cultural, social and economic well-being of communities in Ontario through the magic of youth choral singing.

Numerous studies have found choral singing to have a tremendous impact on youth and the community.
Chorus America, the national service organization for North American choruses, recently reported that choral singers are:

* "far more likely to be involved in charity work"
* "more aware of other people's life experiences"
* and believe their singing "is a way of giving    back to their communities."

We believe the impact and importance of Ontario's many individual youth choirs can be amplified by uniting them for an annual, landmark community celebration.
The key event will take place in ten locations across Ontario when at the exact same time the youth choirs will join in song marking the opening of public concerts at each venue. For the year 2004, the set piece is "To Music", arranged by Betty Betraux. For a copy of the lyrics, please visit "The Song" page.
By recognizing and supporting the important contributions of these incredible youth choirs, together we can develop a stronger sense of community pride and a better Ontario.
